Nope. I live in a gated apartment and still had my truck broken into. Now I scrutenize any vehicle or person I see that doesnt belong. Also a few years back a girl that lived here had her door kicked in and was raped by a guy that was wanted for rape in Mississippi, gated community does not equal safety with all the retards around.
