I've been following that mess fairly close. It's such a shame to break up a piece of land like that over greed. Likely some of the best hunting in the world right there. Of course the owner is going to buy a good bit of it back at the auction from what I hear.

Any guesses on what that place will fetch? I don't think 50Mil comes close. You could get that much for the cropland alone.

I would bet that there will be some institutional buyers for it. With where rates are right now, insurance companies are looking for higher returns anywhere they can find it.
Hopefully Dunklin will be able to buy it back.
