I FINALLY Got a 1911!

I think I've commented on here several times that I was going to get a 1911. Last year, I had it all planned out, then my shithole of a job didn't give us a bonus like they normally do. So, it got put off again.
But today, a year later, I got a bonus. I immediately called Larry's Pistol and Pawn, took a long lunch, and came back to work with my very own Ruger SR1911 CMD.
It ain't the fanciest, but it's exactly what I wanted. I've never owned a handgun. I'll probably never own another one. But, I've wanted a 1911 for the past 20 years. Can't wait to get it out and run some rounds through it.
Pew pew pew.
