After 14 years and 5 resoles my Rocky's have finally given out. The problem is I can't find anything similar.

This is what I had:

Anyone have any suggestions for somewhere to look or other brands?

If you want something like that then just go buy a pair of work boots.

Ariat hybrids

These are what I use, they are essentially knee boots

I am not telling you to get these boots, I have no experience with them. They just crossed my mind as being similar to what you had before.

Hit the break room. They have Danner Boots on sale 13 months out of the year it seems.

My brother just got a pair of Danner Pronghorns for Christmas. He says they are awesome as far as warmth, feel and waterproof with the gore-tex.

You wont get any pussy wearing them but they seem decent for the woods if you dont mind a lace up boot.

I have some Danners and they have lasted me forever. They are a great pair of boots.

I bought these a few years ago and I love them. Very comfortable.

Wolverine King Caribou III

Looks like they are being discontinued and the next version is coming out.

I'd prefer to have gortex and thinsulate not leather or rubber

Thanks for all the suggestions. May just have to break down and get the hybrid version rocky currently makes

I dont think Rocky has sold that boot for a couple years now. I could be wrong though. I have had the exact same pair for 13 years and I just dropped mine off this morning for my 3rd resole. By far the best boots I have ever owned.

I wish I had bought a back-up pair

I can still wear mine the problem is the lining comes out like a sock when I pull my foot out now

I'm on my second pair of Mud Dogs and they have been very serviceable. The soles are hard so it takes a while to break them in.

I started off with a pair of Lacrosse Wellingtons and hated them. They weren't comfortable. Switched to Wolverines and they are the most comfortable I've ever worn and worked in.

Look at Wolverine's Raider, Buccaneer or Anthem styles.
