Hunting apps

What hunting apps are y'all liking the most for deer hunting? I don't like to carry a gps as my iPhone has dam near all the same stuff as one. I'm looking for a good app that I can mark stand locations on and also check distance between them while not at the location. I have a distance map app but it won't save coordinates when I get out the app and can't check distance between marked spots while not at the said location.

There are a pile of good apps that will do this. Huntstand is a good one, and very popular.
OnX maps will do the same and give you landowner parcels in many counties and parishes.

Hunt Stand is the one I use. Great App. Can mark stand locations and a range of field observations (tracks, scat, feed trees, food sources, obstacles, etc.). Also has weather and "Hunt Zone", which basically shows you where your scent will be blown. I think you can look at that up to 3 or 4 days in advance, and hour by hour for that time frame.
Also has a new feature where you can look up landowner information. So many free lookups a month.
If you get online as well, you can save pictures to go with your saved points.
ETA: Also has the ability to measure distances and, I believe save them. I know you cna create tracks and save them.

Deer Hunt is an app put out by Mississippi State. We like it. You can make private stands and club stands. Also can record hunt history. Not sure you can measure distances.

Antler insanity is the best I've seen. I love it and it's free plus simple simple to use

Hunt stand seems legit but the app keeps locking up on me. Also, I have to edit the gps coordinates because it won't take them in the format I have then it throws off the location.. Already deleted the app and re downloaded it, didn't fix it.
Antler insanity is okay but can't get the new locations I'm adding to show up on the map. Frustrating lol.

I'll second the onX Maps. I use iSolunar to keep up with the solar/lunar tables.

Can it recover fumbling ducks?

Scoutlook, OnX and hunstand are great. Also use Best Hunting for solunar, feeding times etc.

Google maps. Can't measure distance in mobile but whatever you save on desktop follows you.

Actually, you can. All you have to do is drop a pin, and you will have the option to measure distances from that location.

It's a good program. Download maps before you leave wifi. Terrain is great in the mountains.

Been using Huntstand for a couple of years. It appears that they have a sign-in option that lets you pin your location with other members/friends in the app. Sounds like a virtual sign-in board to me.
I'm going to attempt to convince some of the ding-dongs that I hunt with to join the 21st century and download the app just as a safety measure.
