If it is intentional to mess with you, I think there are laws on the books to protect you

Dude no being a dick because they "had permission" from the previous owner of the land to hunt it. They seem to have thought that the permission carried over to the new owner. Now the but hurt has set in and they are being assholes about it

Summary:
This section comprises Louisiana's hunter harassment laws. Under R.S. 56:648.1, no person may engage in such activities as interfering with the lawful taking of wildlife, disturbing a wild animal or otherwise affecting its behavior with the intent to prevent or hinder lawful taking, disturb any hunter, trapper, or fisherman who is engaged in lawful taking, or enter or remain on state-managed lands/water or private lands/water with the intent to violate this section. Violation of the provisions of R.S. 56:648.1 constitutes a class two violation. The section allows the issuance of an injunction and recovery of actual damages by persons affected by such conduct.

Need to get out the stand and have a sit down with the guy. If y'all can't squash it call the law. I've had a similar problem and had to park where he couldn't see so he eventually lost interest wasting bullets when not really knowing if I was in a stand hunting.

Get a long 2x4, camo it, put some 4" nails spaced 3-4" all the way through it where 2 1/2" are exposed, put the 2x4 with nails up on the trail he rides and camo it with some leaves and natural grass, then wait for that jackass to pass again

Don't do this crap. If you don't won't to confront them (it's reasonable because they have guns) then you need to talk to the new landowner and let him know

Don't make the situation worse nothing good will come out if it

Reminds me of the guy whose watermelon patch was getting robbed so he put a sign that said, "Caution, one of the watermelons in this patch is poisioned." The next day he came back and found someone had put another sign up. The 2nd one said, "Now there are TWO."

Not me, but my neighbor did. He followed to see where they parked their 4-wheelers and then shot both 4 wheelers plum full of holes with an SK-47. Never had any more problems after that. True story.

Ask nicely. That's your best bet to resolve the issue. If not, shoot him.

Many people are dickheads unfortunately.

It's probably a good idea to report to Sherriff or the game warden in case he escalates.

When the hunters get too close to The property line by the house, I crank the music up and start shooting at the range.

Half of these people paying to hunt have zero respect for them landowners around "their" club.

There is ZERO need for me to hear a gun go off within 100 yards of my shop. The land for that particular club extends six miles from the back edge of my property because of land locked state land.

That's kinda dickish don't you think?

I hunt on a working farm (my dad has cows) and there are neighbors homes within sight of several of my stands. And this pretty far off the beaten path. Just the way it shakes out sometimes.

I'll be hunting our property line and I'll see our neighbor 100 yards away on his tractor putting hay out. I can hear his radio that he keeps on outside 24/7. He's nice enough though, he gave me permission to shoot over into his field as long as I share some meat

Another neighbor who has a 20 acre plot next to us has a house/pool. I let the kids (15 & 17) hunt on us as long as they follow my management style. Lucky frickers can wake up, walk 100 yards to a stand and get in a hunt before school starts
