Put them on Craigslist.
This. You can get $10-20 a piece for them if there in good shape and can be made into a grill or smoker.

Go to the nearest apartment complex. Throw it in the dumpster.

sell em
You might me a redneck if you burn garbage in a 55 gallon drum in your front yard
You might be a cajun if you float your houseboat with 55 gallon drums

Do exactly what you are doing. OB folks will take them.

Make BBQ grills out of them.
When I was a kid (yeah, buddy, I'm old) grills made from drums were the rule, not the exception.

Are they clean inside? I wouldn't make a grill if they stored something toxic.
When we were kids, the neighbor got 4 of them with lids on. We used to jump on them and roll them around the yard and battle each other. The last to fall off won. When we got tired of that, we built a frame to hold them in place and a deck and had an awesome raft that we used all Summer.
Do kids do stuff like that any more or would they rather stay plugged into their electronics?

yeah that's my only concern about giving them to people. These drums are from an oil field where chemicals were stored in them. They have been drained empty but not cleaned with fresh water or any other cleaning supplies.

there's a dude up near Shreveport with some tannerite he wants to get rid of. Maybe you two can get together and help each other out
