Just curious as I paid over $500 in non-resident license fees for me and my 18 year old son. Will be more expensive next year.

Might consider being an outlaw next year.....

I remember it being less than the license back when I hunted MS.

Why will it be more expensive next year? Are they going up?

The fine is less than the license. I've considered doing it for a season more than once. Always chickened out. Never once got checked for my license either. Would have saved $2,400+ in 6 years.

Actually no less than $500 but not more than $1k and a year of no hunting which would probably be enforced in La as well.

More expensive for his 19 year old son. Price goes from$110 to full $300.

Did they get rid of the non-resident lifetime option? I used to see it 2 or 3 years ago.

Yeah, they got rid of it a couple years after they started charging a bunch for yearly licenses. I think it's been longer than a few years though.

It says non-resident, mississippi native license is $1500. There is no option for just non resident.

It will be more expensive for me because my son will be 19, and I have to buy him "adult" license. This year he fell into the 16-17-18 range so his was only $110 I believe. Next year it will be $300.....

How much is the fine for hunting over corn? My buddy has 330 acres in Mississippi and asked me to go this weekend, and he said by the way I put out 1000 pounds of corn this week.

I've been hunting in Mississippi for 30 years and never been check by a GW in the field.

They used to be bad about road blocks around the state line but I have not even heard of that lately.

Not sure. I think the rule is a feeder cannot be in plain sight of your stand. Does anyone know the rule about piles of corn or rice bran in a food plot?
