+1, what he said reaffirms that programs importance to our freedoms. His attempt to turn a black man killing a black women into racism is plain idiotic, and a reach for even the left. Having people this dumb with a voice, is scary, and further affirms the importance of keeping the NRA strong on the political front.

The pros - I usually enjoy a couple of articles from each magazine, but mostly it's supporting the 2nd Amendment rights lobbying that the NRA provides.
The cons - they send out an incredible amount of email so I eventually opted out.

Count me in.
The only negative I can think of is that, once you become a member, they will send you mail approximtely twice a day asking you to renew your membership.
