Is that holster longer than the barrel?

The only holster they had available was for a Kahr K40/CW40, which has a slightly longer barrel but is about the same width.

You could also get one of these good holsters for a proper fit. They are reasonably priced...

I have this weird fetish about my guns having a very-worn look. When I buy something, I shoot the shite out of it. Any finish that has smoothed out is a proud battle wound for my handguns to wear. Just look at the wear on the barrel... (this pic was around the 3000-3500 round mark)

It isn't a Glock - it's better. Granted the trigger may have a very long pull and a very long reset (almost identical to a DA revolver), it is EXTREMELY smooth. And carrying a gun without a safety means that a longer trigger pull is a good thing.

Hope you like what you hold. Carry on...

Late also but I also carry everyday, to add some input to the "what to carry questions" I really prefer inside the waistband over pocket carry. My kahr cm9 feels way more comfortable inside my waistband than the lump of a tiny LCP .38 in my front or rear pocket. Oh yea a good gun belt makes a huge difference as far as sagging and constantly adjusting.

I love how smooth worn guns are. They are just awesome.

All 4 of my handguns have at least 3k or more rounds through them. All are smooth as butter.

I think I may go exactly with that rig if that Kahr feels good in my hands.

Forgot to mention, all Kahr pistols have a 200-round break-in period. I'm sure most normal people will shoot their handguns enough to trust them but they say it's required since the guns are tightly-fitted.

My own CM9 only had one issue in the first day - the slide didn't lock back on the last round of the first magazine, and that's IT. It will run all profiles of ammo reliably. The lighter handloads I make sometimes give it fits, but that is simply my underpowered stuff and is not a fault of the gun. It will have a VERY tight action when you buy it so I would suggest some very hot stuff when you first shoot it to smooth it out. I ran the hottest handloads I had when I first shot it. It sped up the process.

Also forgot to mention that the barrel is +P-rated. It is made by Walther and is very high quality. The entire pistol is just a little tank.

EDIT: I also suggest you get yourself a set of Talon Grips. The gun is very light-recoiling compared to most subcompact 9mms, but the stippling on the grip is very sharp and eventually starts to hurt. Talon Grips remedy this issue and make it shootable all day long.

Late here, as well. I carry every day, wherever it's legal to do so. Depending on the situation, I usually carry a 45 ACP, sometimes a 9mm or rarely a 380 ACP. One of the 45's I carry is this 1911 Commander, shown w/ a Woolfe Gun Leather IWB holster.

For anybody wondering about another opinion of the kahr cm/pm series, I trust my life behind that little bastard. I OFTEN times forget I have it on me then have to think about where exactly it is located on my body. It is SHOCKINGLY accurate right out of the box and very reliable.

Another vote for the CM9. Never thought I could shoot a sub compact 9mm that well. Very impressed with the accuracy. Boy that recoil spring is stiff though!

I want to carry at my SO church, they have had multiple vehicle break ins while mass is going on inside. Most Catholic churches are also school campuses as well.

The Kahr CM9/PM9 guns are VERY nice cc pictols, for sure. I'd like to point out that the CW series of pistols by Kahr are also very desireable guns for cc. In addition, CW series are less expensive than other Kahr's. I've had a CW45 for about 10 months and it has become my main cc gun. The CW9 is only slightly taller and longer than the CM9, but is still very easy to conceal w/ an IWB holster, although it may be too big for pocket carry.

It seems like with the new introduction of the M&P Shield and the XDs that people have thrown Kahr to the side when they are the ones that have been making single-stack carry guns for the longest.

I completely agree. The CW series has the same slim profile but you get slightly more capacity and a longer barrel. I will probably own another Kahr in the future. Hell, make that 2 or 3.

They're decent guns. If you want one that is a bit higher quality, I would suggest the Ruger LCP. My buddy got one at Academy for $299 and it has been 100% since he's had it.

Is it fun to shoot? No.

Could you depend your life on it? Yep.

Nimble - you'll love the CM9.

I got this holster for pocket carry... mainly because it presents itself as a wallet.

I was already used to front pocket carrying a heavy wallet, so this has been pretty nice.

I would not say this is the best holster, but I generally like what it does for me.

I've never found my CM9 to be small enough for pocket carry, but I know a few people that do it.

So if it works for him, more power to him!
