How Long Did it Take for Your CC Permit?

Sent mine in back in the beginning of January. I call every couple of weeks and it hasn't been processed yet.

took like 5 months from me, turned everything in in September, CCP was issued in February..

The number of applications has continued to increase so wait times have gotten longer. It can fluctuate though.

Sent in paper application the week before Thanksgiving. Permit issued on 5/2/16. Received a few days later.

That's absurd. Did you send in prints or did you go to LSP HQ to be printed?

Took prints at my local sheriff's office and mailed em in with app

I did send emails to check on the progress every month or two. They answered all of them (within a few days) with some kind of update. At least to tell me "haven't begun processing that time period yet" or "waiting on the background check to come back" etc.

mine took 3 weeks. just depends how busy they are

Biggest factor is going to the State Police and have them do your fingerprints, and to have a clean background

Did the app online and mailed in 2 fingerprint cards on 4/7/16. Currently at day 90. Emailed LSP and the response was 120 day wait time.

Got mine in about 15 minutes at Mobile Co Sheriff's office. No prints needed.

Yes I have a spotless record. Got my TWIC card a month ago and he'll that only took 2 days

Did a renewal online in Feb and it took less than two weeks to get the new card in.

My renewal is taking a while. Called and they had sent my payment info to spam folder. Paid it 2 weeks ago. Waiting....waiting.....

Some states SHALL issue with 45 days or refuse to. Mine took less than that.
