I work in Youngsville and live by the cart ranch, Aristotle drive is flooded near 100 block. Youngsville was hit hard yesterday, almost didn't make it back home. Show some pics and stay safe.

I live in Youngsville and will make it through fine, but then again I'm in a new subdivision. A lot of older subdivisions were built low on top of old cane fields and flood easily.

I know outskirts of Maurice had high water yesterday. One co-worker couldn't make it though in a 4WD F250 Ford diesel.

I'm in Youngsville and our subdivision is fine. I haven't ventured out yet so I don't know how bad it is out there.

Yeah, we're just hunkered down. Sounds like Highland Ridge got hit the hardest. Something like 80% have water in their house.

I heard YFD lost a fire truck yesterday. Not sure if true. They have a mandatory evacuation for Highland Ridge. I can't imagine their situation is any better today.

My neice lives in Youngsville close to Maurice. She came home for wedding last night, hopefully her house didn't get water.

They were trying to get a ICU doctor picked up and brought to LGMC so he could go to work, truck got stuck and stalled out from what I was told.

A spot called Highland Ridge getting evacuated for flood water. Whodathunkit.

I hope y'all get and stay dry soon.

A friend from Parks posted some pics on Facebook of Bayou Teche and the bayou was out of its banks. He said his grandfather said it was the highest he has ever seen the bayou.
