Looking for a new idea. Bout to start my winter cleaning of the boat and tackle, and need a new way to organize soft plastics.
I dont like bags, and in the past have used boxes, but they take up alot of space.
I have about 500 bags of baits and only know about 10

I have a double side bag, one side is worms, otherside is creature baits

Not sure why I have that many baits, I only use about 6 of them

I use two worm bags and separate them by color. In one bag I have my natural greens, Browns, tans, and in the other I have my darker colors, reds, purple, and any other color. I keep trailer type baits in a separate container.

I also have a peg board in my garage with extra packs of my favorite colors, this way I don't carry too many around.

I have a nylon bag with four seperate plastic boxes. I have each labeled so I know what baits are in each box. I have worms in one, artificial lures in another, lizards in one, and craw and flukes in another. Don't throw spinners that much, so that's it. Also have a small plastic box on the side with weights/hooks. Then tools in one pouch, insect spray/sun tan oil in another. Line and an extra reel in another. Oil, lubricant misc. shite in another.

I switched to these and have been very happy

Now I keep original bags, and have them broken down better [link=(Plano FTO Elite Worm File Speedbag (Small) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0038OH08A/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_ZLgQub18WWB8A)]LINK[/link]

I keep them in the bags and put them in by tackle bag, extras in plastic bins from walmart. There's one size that perfectly fits a bag width.

In the kayak I have two medium Plano boxes. Hard baits, spinners and voodoo shrimp in one, jig heads, lead heads, hooks, weights and leaders in the other. All my soft plastics are gulp and vortex and the ones I bring are in one of the large gulp buckets. In the motor boat, sadly, I'm not organized at all, shite is in all sorts of places.

Update: found these plano bags at Academy for $10. Fold out with sections to insert bait. Folds up for easy storage.

I have a bag with 3 trays. One for hard plastics, one for jig heads and live bait tackle and one for soft plastics. I never use the soft plastics in that tray, only the ones jammed in the front pocket of the bag that are in the bags I bought them in. It's basically shite.
