BS,

What's your prefered carry method when you are wearing casual clothes like jeans. Do you pocket carry?

Spring/summer (cargo shorts and t-shirts): pocket carry w/ Kel-Tec PF9 and Bear Creek Holsters rear pocket holster (carried in the front pocket or cargo pocket).
Winter (jeans and such): IWB (usually untucked, but sometimes tucked) w/ Commander 1911 and Woolfe Gun Leather "Lone Wolf-T" or Kahr CW45 and Side Guard Holsters "Clip Tuck." Sometimes will also carry an Office 1911 w/ a Remora Holster(untucked).

I have a Kel-Tec 380 that I sometimes pocket carry w/ a Woolfe Gun Leather front pocket holster, but only when I can carry a bigger gun. My jeans pockets don't fit my gun holsters very well.

too fat for IWB. Cant fit my finger in there much less a gun.

Don't worry, NONE of us can fit a holster and gun IWB w/o wearing bigger pants. The pants I wear for IWB are 1-2" inches bigger in the waist than usual.

I can pocket carry with a pocket holster in some of my jeans without it really printing. I also pocket carry in most of my shorts during the summer. I IWB with my jeans most of the time and i am able to IWB carry with my normal jeans, just have to loosen the belt a couple notches. It's a little uncomfortable, but it's a trade off.

Thanks, I'll check them out.

Anybody got a good suggestion for a belt to use with IWB holsters? I'm getting tired of messing up my nice LSU belts.

I carry a glock nine with 32 round clip at 1:00 inside my drawers. Use the grip to help hold my pants up

My IWB holster doesn't really even touch my belt... Don't hook it to the outside of your belt.

to reduce printing

I've gotten to where IDGAF if I print or not. I'll wear this

alot with jeans and an untucked tshirt or polo as long as my shirt is long enough to cover.
Tucked shirt is always the crossbreed supertuck
Rare occasions I will carry my airweight in an ankle rig inside my boot but I don't really like it.

With pants i carry an XDm sub compact. it's between the 4 and 5 o'clock position right above my wallet. I've yet to carry in shorts yet but I was thinking about switching to appendix or pocket carr with a snub nose .38. The scenario I always picture having to use is being robbed at gun or knife point so I carry where it is least likely tip tip off said thug to my intentions.

Check out this site. They have pretty much any and everything you could possibly want in holsters. I have bought quite a few from them.

LCR hooked on the side of my purple and gold thongs..

I like this idea. If I'm ever reduced to carrying an LCP or LCR, I'm buying a gold (no purple) thong.

Until then, it's OWB in a Comp-Tac paddle holster under an untucked, loose-fitting shirt, or jacket, or vest. In said holster is an un-named (to avoid agitating the a certain demographic segment) 9mm handgun that holds 18 rounds of Federal HST.

LCR looks like a cell phone in jeans pocket. Tried carrying a Springfeild XD subcompact, but was a little too bulky. LCR or similar size is perfect.
I can't do Vincent Vega and Jules from Pulp Fiction when they leave the restaurant and waist band the 1911's in Athletic shorts.

Yeah, no need to damage a nice LSU belt!

For casual wear, I like to use the Wilderness Tactical Instructor belts, 5 stitch. My first one has the original metal buckle, but next one I bought has the plastic buckle. For a dressier belt, most of the custom leather holster makers also make belts. My leather belt was made by Little Bear Leather, but they're out of business. The "Double Duty" belt from Cabela's is not too bad. These leather belts are THICK, as they should be. I'm always surprised to see postings on the 'net where someone complains about their leather gun belt being "thick" or "stiff." I have 2 leather belts that were free from LA Police gear. They're ok, but not as good as the others already mentioned. Google custom leather belt makers. A good custom leather belt for holster carry will run you upwards of $50, but it will be money well spent.

Thank you good sir. I read your first sentence and was thought that I had a smartass on my hands. Then realized that you obviously were not being such

I had an old leather one that was real thick and worked great. No idea what happened to that one. And now I have destroyed two LSU emblemed leather belts. They arent overly expensive but they arent doing a great job either.

I will check out the ones that you mentioned. I am sure that there are millions of reviews out there too.
