How Do I Get a Title on a Trailer

you mean that the trailer has never had a title assigned to it or that prior owner didn't transfer the title to you?....

Same question but my trailer passed through several hands and has been traded around like a cheap ho. Often "sold" for a case of beer or to pay off a football bet. No clue of the original owner but it has a permanent tag. Leave well enough alone or apply for a title and tag that comes back to me?

You can try to bring it to state police and say it is home made. They will stamp a vin on it with a punch
