Texas A&M has some outstanding researchers and facilities. Wish LA could get on that level.

What about the latest boondoggle, the mythical WATER CAMPUS!?!?!
I feel like dramatic chipmunk should whip around any time the words water campus are used. Either that or the Peewee's Playhouse Word of the Day reaction.

The facility at grand isle is nice, as is LUMCON, but without the funding it's useless. It's a shame really, we sit on top of one of the most prolific deltas in the world and we struggle to get research money.

I could tell you a story about red snapper but don't want to cost my stepson his job at a very local marine biology lab. Catch me when I'm drunk and I might tell you how often I eat red snapper for free and no it's not been analyzed.
