Hopedale Fishing Report 9/22/15

My brother made an evening trip to Hopedale today not expecting to do much with font coming through and northern winds. Was fishing a point in Hopedale Lagoon and saw six birds diving not far from where he was. He snuck over there and caught 12 nice trout all around 16-18 inches and one red. once the bite stopped, he drifted a little bit and picked up another three trout as big as the others.He told me he was out there maybe 30 minutes. Hopedale lagoon is maybe a five minute boat ride from the old Pips boat ramp and is not a bad paddle for the Kayakers. If anyone goes, I would love a report.

He did good. Report out of Reggio. No trout, but all the red fish one wants to catch sight fishing in the ponds per my brother yesterday.

Sweet! Fished there saturday and all I did was burn fuel. Stopped at the dam on the way in and they had a few boats picking up some reds.

Fished in lake ponchartrain and got on a decent topwater bite. Only caught 4, but the biggest was 22".
