hoop net questions

im looking into buying 1-2 hoop nets here soon and was wondering if anyone in cenla sold them?

also, do yall have any general tips with the nets, like bait, etc.?

Also a net shop in Simsport. Cheese mixed with mule feed. You don't want to get that crap on you or anything else. Stinks big time.

I also think that Boones in woodworth (behind the shooting range) sells them. Not sure if he has bait.

Boones is what I was coming to post. Great little store and he has it all. It's where I buy my bait for my nets.

They really are great people. I haven't been out there in a while. What kind of bait does he sell? I usually just use the blocks of cheese.

this is the is OP, just on a different account.

i bought two reinforced wire nets today and got some cotton seed cubes too. ill set them out later on this evening. any tips for setting on a river? red river specifically.

Hop nets are way better/more effective imo.

Those traps baited with cotton seed cubes will catch white perch but you can't keep them.
