Yep, not contagious once washed.
Spread often comes once you put on the same shoes, handle infected clothes, touch the same weed trimmer, etc

Zanfel is the only correct answer. I'm highly allergic and cortisone shots and zanfel are the only things that truly work.

This!!! It's not contagious from the rash/blisters. Once you have washed the oil from the plant off of you and anything on contact with the oil, it not transmittable.

For the love of sanity, I wish someone would make a PSA about this. It's amazing how many people (damn near everybody) don't know this
I always tell my patients this and to tell as many people as they know....including teachers and school nurses

Bleach and this stuff called ivarest. If that doesn't work, go get a shot.
