Does anyone on the OB have one? If so, what do you think of it and would you recommend I pick one up?
TIA
TIA

No. But good gun for the purpose. Or to carry backpacking if you wanna small game hunt as you go.

They have a 10/22 takedown at bass pro along with a talo, camp carbine, and about 10 black carbine. All $349.99

+1 - I've been threatening since I found out they existed.
This year, I'm going to do it.

My dad bought one for my son. It's a neat little gun. It's kind of a novelty type thing IMO. But I guess if you did some serious hiking or overnight raft trips it could be useful.

That would be my pick.

I recently bought my grandson (9), a Rossi single shot 22/410 matched barrels. Very easy to change barrels. I wanted the single shot as a starter, but the ability to break it down will make it a good back pack/ survival gun. 32inch overall length. $165 at Walmart.

I want to get one of these to put in my go bag.
ETA: and this gun was designed by Eugene Stoner, developer of the M-16, to be used for downed air force pilots. It was originally sold by Armalite.

The 10/22 takedown is a nicer gun no doubt but it does carry a $100+ price tag above the henry plus it doesn't float. The henry being in a water tight container is a huge selling point for me for a survival rifle.
