for my new rifle. Lower is put together and my sig brace is on. All I need is my upper.

I run the Palmetto State Armory 10in upper on my sbr and it runs like a champ. They always have them on sale. I also run an Adams Arms 7.5 in upper, I run both suppressed and both have been awesome.

They seem to be a little light on SBR uppers these days.

You told me the length, which I will be going with. Now I need to find the actual upper to put on the lower.

I have been wanting to build an SBR rifle, not pistol

Just seems like a hassle. The lack of taking it out of state part gets on my nerves. I know you can ask to do so via paper work. Traveling out of state out on a short notice or just for the weekend from time to time seems to be a pain in the arse. Can't really enjoy the firearm if I can't take it when I want. Maybe this is not a big deal

You may request a travel grace of up to 6 months at a time. Still not perfect, but better than maybe what you thought. Soon they will be like suppressors, hopefully.

I hope so. Travel request works for the camp but to just pack and go to anoter place in MS or AL is a no go

300 Blackout seems to be the latest craze. I'll stick to 556

300BLK was SAAMI approved in 2011. It is based off the 300 Whisper which was designed in the 90s.

There is no better rifle round for suppression. It stabilizes out of a shorter barrel than almost any round. The only difference between a 5.56 and 300blk rifle is the barrel.

Call it a craze, but its not the latest and it has more than its fair share of merits.

That's because 300 bulk has minimal performance differences between 16" and 8.5" barrel lengths. Also a much bigger projectile that can be very effectively suppressed.
