Diving is June 4-7 and the weigh-in in June 7th starting at 10:00am in Kenner at the Kenner City Park Pavilion. Come by, drink some beer, and oogle at some fish even if you don't dive.

If you do dive then get your arse out there and compete! The rodeo is a blast. Going to have a lot of prized from Spearguns (5 I think), fins, ice chests, etc.

This is one of those events I'd like to go along, drop to 30-40 feet and just watch.

I hear you on that. I don't spearfish, yet, but I know a few people that do. I need to see if they are doing this and I go video them.

Could you dive that shallow and shoot fish?

Yeah but probably not the fish these guys are after.

I'm not comfortable dropping to 150 and back up. So I'll watch from above. Float around and pretend to be busy.
