Feels good. Day 3 was the absolute worst, but every day gets a little easier. I know there were some other posters that were trying or thinking about it. I was going on 16 years of the stuff, so if I can quit it, anyone can.

Here's to hoping I keep it going for good. And to anyone else that wants to join me

Would you say you were mentally or physically addicted? Or both?

Well done. I stopped chewing about 3 years ago cold turkey and have never really looked back. Its gets exponentially easier as days turn into weeks, weeks to months and so on.

I know 2 weeks pales in comparison, but it is a grind. I'm just taking it a day at a time. After good, spicy meals is the worst right now. Doublemint and Big Red have helped though.

The real test will be when I get on a golf course. I'm kind of dreading that...

Hunting, fishing, and late nights at the office were the biggest temptations.

Quit last July after almost 20 years. I made it through hunting season and a few golfing and fishing trips this spring. Hardest part so far has been back on the baseball field coaching my son. Probably because that's where it all began.

You just have to keep reminding yourself that it is going to kill you, it's just a matter of when not if!!!

Congrats, using anything to supplement like Grinds or beef jerky?

Just take it one day at a time man.

I'm going on about 3 weeks. I agree third day is the toughest. That and after sex.

Im not a smoker unless I'm drinking or golf course.

Quit for Lent last year after 20 years. It's tough, but worth it.

Every time you think about it, just think about Lent (if that's why you gave it up), and what He gave up for you. That's what made it easy for me.

Good luck. Sunflower seeds and chewing gum are your friend!
