Has the fantastic forecast for fed snapper weekend been discussed?

It's a joke

It's like the deal where a permit to hunt elk in Zone 18 is like $5,000 and takes 8 years of preference points.

Or, you can drive out there, shoot your elk, and if you get caught, pay a $1000 fine and surrender the elk that you never would have had to begin with.

Everyone likes to do the right thing. But sometimes, you can break the rules if you're willing to pay the consequences.

I've been in GI 78 for the last 13 days and it's been less than 3' most of the time. The last 2 days have been so calm that it's hard to tell the water from the sky when the sun is low. Currently not a swell out here and 0-1's. I'm going pick up my new boat Thursday so it only makes sense that it will rain all weekend

Should have taking a picture of them floating and posted them. Maybe some of the idiots that passed the regulations would see how stupid they are. But then again, I'm sure their pockets are bulging with the cash they receive to protect the commercials.

Yep, pisses me off every time we have to kill one that we catch accidentally while targeting mangroves, grouper, amberjack, and cobia. Unfortunately, you catch more red snapper than any of the other species.

It's quite tempting to use the floaters for cut bait.

One my way down right now. Gonna make a run this afternoon and as many as I can in the coming days too the rain hits
