I recently made the decision to go back to school after graduating 2 1/2 years ago. Long story short, I start ultrasound school in January and I got out of a bad arse hunting lease that my dad has hunted for 20+ years to save money for school. My dad surprised me today and told me we were going to Hadley Creek in November rut bow hunt to reward me for going back. I've hunted my whole life and I've killed some nice deer including a 155 inch 9 point with my bow 2 years ago in Natchez on the lease i got out, but I've never been more jacked up about a hunt. Anybody have experience with Hadley Creek?

Never been but know some people who have. All said it is first class. Me and some friends are looking into the self guided hunts they offer possibly for next year. The amount of P&Y bucks they produce is unreal.

Its things like this that gives you something to look forward too. I go on a hunt every year, somewhere. This year I drew for Kansas, and it just makes work alot easier, looking forward to the trip. Don't expect much, just enjoy every minute, and if it happens, its just a blessing. Thats all you can really ask for. Enjoy the time with family, and good luck!

Don't go to hadley creek man, or illinois in general. much better off with a unit 16 hunt in kansas or wait til you draw an iowa tag. They have shot the everloving shite out of that area of illinois and when you run as many hunters through as they do you can bet you will be fighting for scraps and hoping you get a cruiser to come by in the rut. much better places to go IMO

Lots of mixed reviews about Hadley Creek. Many outfitters in the midwest, find one without the questionable reviews.

I've heard mixed reviews on HC. From the folks I know that have been it seems they save the best spots for the TV shows to film.
