Got a gun show this weekend in Birmingham. Is it pretty safe to assume that I will see, Long Lines, Mass hysteria, people spending money like they have a money tree? If so I plan on just sitting back and laughing at the people paying outrageous prices for stuff I got for alot cheaper before the whole hysteria thing.

The one in muscle shoals was like that. I'm thinking about taking all my guns and selling them.

I always feel kinda weird at gun shows. I feel like the majority of the people there are the ones that you would not want having guns(not gangsters or thugs, but white people). They bring their guns just to walk around with them in the hopes that someone will ask them a few questions about how awesome it is. The type of dorky, unsafe to be around people.

That said, they do have the best assortment you will find anywhere

Buddy of mine said that was exactly the way it was last week in DFW, but plenty of merchandise, which is unusual for the way it is now in racks.

One of the head guys at Federal told me last week that the orders they are taking right now for ammo will be filled in 12-18 months.

exactly why i broke out the reloading supplies, I got plenty of guns but not being able to find ammo (or decent priced ammo) pisses me off.

The 2-3 I have been to, I have found the people polite and well-mannered. This is includes the I went to a few weeks ago in Mississippi.
That said, I didn't find the prices or selection to be anything special.

All the ones I have been to here prices are never outstanding. normal prices I would say. Main quest for me is to hop onto some reloading supplies if I can get them cheap. If not I will just enjoy the day being surrounded by guns.

Fact.

Almost forgot, what you will find, usually, are some pretty cool custom-made knives.
Usually guys that just make a few to sell and pretty good craftsmen.
