My dad passed away fifteen years ago. His guns have been in my moms closet for that long. How would I go about finding out if the guns are registered and if they need to be registered if I take possession of them? Thanks in advance.

they don't need to be registered here.

They are good to go.

What state at the guns located now? There are very few states that have any type of registration. None in the south. If they are yours, just go get them.

Shipping is a different animal, but if you go get them you are good to go.

What kind of guns? Regular rifles and pistols, you've gotten your answer. Any SBRs , SBSs, or automatic weapons gets real tricky.

In other words, just go get them all but don't tell anyone about these
