My gf wants to by me a handgun for Christmas. She has a TN license but lives in LA w me. Can she purchase a handgun in LA and then transfer to me ?

I think she can buy a long gun, but not a handgun if there's a rifle or shotgun you want also

....I have bought literally dozens of guns in pennsylvania and south carolina. Long and short.

It is unless you're military.
Not sure about now but it used to be that you couldn't buy a long gun out of state unless the states share a border.
