My son with the birds.

A casualty that bit the dust on the way in to the blind. Ran over the fricker in the vehicle in the pic.

Slow as hell in Klondike, 12 yesterday 4 this morning. Someone close had a bunch of birds or were just sky busting anything in site.

For all yal hunting in SWLA, have yal been checking the craws? Very few of our birds had rice in them even know we are surrounded by it. Years past they would be slap full of it, the new combines and the new rice doesn't leave shite left in the fields.

Not in SWLA, but in Houston area birds are thick in the rice both on the East and West side. Once they get busted out of the rice, they head straight to the marsh. Most birds I have seen in many years.

The birds we are killing have little to no rice in them

Wondering if they are feeding later.

Lots of sky bustin around us. The birds get higher everyday

Same, most everything was sky high and hauling arse on a mission. We need some new birds big time. At the same time they went back a lil further east north of Gueydan to another guys place and limited. Its crazy how you can go a mile or so as the crow flies and it is completely different.
