Great read on a real SHTF situation

TL;DR:
1) Ammo REALLY is currency. Bartering rules.
1a) Common calibers, common guns. You're 25-'06 is a bad choice.
2) You can die from bad sanitation. TP, antibiotics, soap, ect. They'll save your life.
3) If you are "wealthy," you're a target. If you have a generator, trade it.
4) Coffee, cigarettes, booze, pussy (and I bet Twinkies) are very valuable.
5) Learn to eat rats.
