Husband is there now; earlier this am said that it wasn't raining but the wind was still rough and that the tide still looked high. Supposed to come home today but not sure if they'll be able to.

Wouldn't all this rain be terrible for fishing in Venice? Lots of fresh water coming from the river this week I'd think...

I have no idea, I'm legit asking.

I've heard on the radio and news that the road is open to GI. No washouts reported, but there is standing water on LA1.

This picture is at least 4 years old. Thanks for sharing.

My brother is on his way to the island now. His 28' world cat is on a boat lift at my dad's camp on the bay side. Hoping he cranked it up high enough when he left Sunday. Our security camera doesn't show water over our bulkhead yet, so here's to hoping he dodged a bullet this time.

My camp is past sureway a few blocks. Looks like I have 6-10" over my slab. I'm midway between beach and bay. The Ditch behind our camp doesn't drain at all.

Flooding not as bad as u expected in Venice. Still real windy and water is up outside the levee but not awful.
