I'm getting told parts of Hwy 1 between Fourchon and G.I. are washed out are at a minimum still under water and will be closed till Sunday. I'm trying to get to Fourchon Sunday...good to go? Or stay home?

I drove out to Fourchon today. It is fine as long as you are in a truck or SUV, although I saw one guy in a Camero and one guy on a Goldwing.

The road is open. You might get some water on the road right below the flood gate during high tide but last night the road was clear.

Heading down for some surf fishing tomorrow. Light winds from the northeast. 1.4ft tide range, high tide at 11am.

Should be great in the surf. I hope they are biting.

Went to Elmer's first and water had too much grass for my liking, went to GI and threw long A till 7, not a bump, switched to chart chocahoe and started picking up a few. Water looked awesome about a mile east of barges this afternoon when I was running in from
Offshore. Got worse the close we got to caminada

Fished Elmers island this morning, caught 50 specs all keepers, headed back to Bridge Side for lunch. Water looked good no grass where we fished. Live crookers and live shrimp.
