I'm sure we have had several threads on this. However I'm looking for good inland charters and deep sea charters. Any recommendations for Grand Isle would be great.

TIA

Inshore go with Capt Frank Drehr with Laid Back Charters. Offshore go with Corey and/or Ryan with Reel Addiction or Lance Walker with Fish Commander.

I wouldn't recommend fish commander....we went out on the cat a few years back and it was readily apparent they don't maintain their equipment properly. 75 miles on one motor takes a very long time.

Fish Commander is great actually, Bradley is top notch guide running the boat now. They did a whole revamp on the boat last summer and it's looking and running great.

FWIW anyone can blow an engine out there, it's what happens when you fish 200+ days out of the year

I understand that and the Capts put us on tile fish and some other species when the motor blew. No problems with the fish catching. They just made some comments after the fact that lead me to believe they knew there was an issue with that motor.

I'm glad to hear they have made some improvements tho. Again no issues with the fish catching.
