This is the buck I shot in January. Gave it to Robert Lemoine in Port Allen.

This took exactly 6 months and I think he did well. The little thing at the bottom of the plaque is the back of the cartridge I shot the buck with. I thought it would be a cool idea and I do like how the whole mount turned out. Enjoy.

I don't know why but I was really hoping for another homemade bobcat mount. Nice deer though man! Congratulations!

Good looking deer. Outside the ears. What's the back story?

Must have been a hell of a hunt.

Saw him right before dark and noticed his back right leg was snapped and swinging. Took the shot at a little over 100 yards and he dropped. I saw him crawl into the woods and then we waited. He wasnt where I thought he was. We got dogs on him for about 400 yards through shin deep water. Finished him with a 9mm as he was crawling away. After inspecting, the friend who let me hunt the peoperty said his buddy shot and missed vitals on that buck which is how he got hurt. He had 1 testicle, a hole in his left leg, and a right leg attached by ligaments for 3 weeks. My shot was slightly angled and punched a hole with little internal damage. Was stoked to finally have him down.

Holy shite, we may need to take this little story down before hunting is banned
