I have a good friend who split the frick out of his lower lip area, stitches on the inside and outside, from a gun rack that sat lower than that thing. He'll tattoo whatever's written on the back of that bar in his forehead.

Well I feel like this is one of those threads where a bunch of women think they have the answer after 5 minutes and 2 pictures. The reason it has to be so high is to clear blind bags and other things that typically ride in the basket on the way to the blind.

Looks horrible mounted that high. Even if it is to clear bags or whatever. True "here comes pa pa" mount there. Id mount it to the fron of that basket with some flat plate front and backing for support across that expanded metal.

Inside the basket is where it should actually go. Just make some plates for it to bolt to underneath, and you're golden. Already have the wires right there
