Anyone have any good experiences and/or recommendations for Golden Retriever Breeders? Preferably within a 6-7 hr driving distance from SELA? Im aware of Hunnington Farms. Any breeders I should steer clear of?

My girlfriend got her male golden from Triple L Golden Retrievers. They seem to be geared more as friendly family dogs than hunting dogs and hers is no exception. He loves people and other dogs and doesn't have a mean bone in his body.

I can get you pics if you'd like. On my phone right now.

My roommate has one from Triple L as well. It's a very friendly dog but I don't know if she'd fare well as a hunting dog.

Thanks for the Recommendations. Will look at Triple L. Reds, not too worried about hunting with this dog. Will be mainly family/boat buddy.

You may as well go ahead and start a thread asking for vacuum recs as well.

Got a Roomba so going to see how much hair it can suck up before it explodes/catches fire.

Truth. My buddy has a Yellow Lab and his Roomba runs multiple times a day and there is still hair everywhere. It's unbelievable

My beagle sheds like a freaking maniac. It'll change your life, seriously.

We finally had to break down and get her shaved, which helps tremendously.

I can't imagine a 60lb shedding machine like a golden.
