Second hand Glock 27 in a 40 SW. Comes with three magazines. All 8-round capacity. $400??

Good value? Meh? Jump at the price?

Overall condition APPEARS good. I do not know number of rounds run through. Dude never has a lot of money so I assume he didn't have the cash to plink with box after box of 40SW?.

What says the board?

I'd say $400 is a good deal.... I sold a 27 about 2 years ago with 2 mags and I think I got $425

Totally kidding. I recently purchased my third Glock.

I am on team 1911 though.

To answer your question, 400 for that is a good deal.

Do you know what generation it is? If its a 3 or 4 that is a good price. Although I'm not much of a fan of the subcompacts.

Damn it that is what I thought. Like the Big Green Egg sitting in Costco for $499. I knew it was a good deal but did not want to drop $500 at that time.

It's an even better deal if it's a gen4.... Those are valued a little higher on the secondary market even though glock's msrp is the same on the 3rd and 4th gen

That's a fair price. CDNN is selling NIB G19's for $500 (no shipping charges and no sales tax).

BTW, those should be 9 round mags, giving you 10 round capacity with 1 in the chamber.

My G27 (I've had it since about 1990) is the one that gets shot the least. Compared to the G19 (and the G23), it has "snappy" recoil that results in slower follow-up shots. But it's a very reliable weapon.

Awesome, if it was a G26 I'd be all over it.

I'd ask for more...

That's a good price. Just make sure that the slide stop release isn't worn out. Check it by locking the slide back and inserting the mag pretty hard. If it releases then it is worn. That will tell you if it has had a lot of rounds fired through it. It is easy to replace but, it is just a good indicator of how much use the gun has had. Also inspect the rails on the frame. Look for any damage which indicates that the slide was not properly put back on after being field stripped for cleaning. If damaged, don't buy the gun.
