If your carrying, glock 19. The 19 has soo many more options for holsters and accessories. Which is really important for being able to tailor it to the way you want to carry. Mags are much cheaper as well. Also there is something to be said fir glock reliability.

If it's just a range toy/ nightstand gun I think the vp9 shoots much much better.

Sig320 isn't really in the running for me. If I was getting a sig I'm not carrying it's going to be a legion

If you wish to add a trigger and further customizations go with the Glock 19. If you want a damn near perfect firearm out the box that you don't need to customize at all then go with the VP9. VP9 mags are more expensive than Glock mags and you can customize glocks a lot more.

Such as? I have a glock 19 gen 4. I haven't bought any accessories for it yet. What do I need?

I'm a huge proponent of not modifying carry guns (besides to trade out sights for the trijicon HD) so when I say acesories I normaly mean mags, mag carriers, threaded barrels of thats your thing, and holsters. With the glock there is a very high chance that someone will make a holster that fits your exact needs. Assuming that you don't just want a generic hybrid holster or something of the like.

VP9 is the best stock handgun out there right now.

Depends on you. I've owned the Glock 19 and love Glocks overall but I prefer the Sig P320 Compact 9 over the G19. It's all about what is the most comfortable for you.

I have two of the three and will be buying the other before too long.

I have the p320 and Glock 19.

Of those two for just shooting much prefer the P320. It has a great trigger, I did however replace the stock trigger with a flat faced Apex.

For carry I keep the Glock with me always. It is pretty new but I've run over 600 rounds through it so far without a hickup. I did replace the disconnect and will replace the trigger soon. I just don't like the feel of the stock Glock trigger and really like the flat face triggers.

I'm not one bit worried about that. Throw a 1911 in a torture test and see how miserably it fails. Doesn't mean I don't want one as an ultimate range gun

Any gun can and will fail a test like that but no offense, that just is not realistic test at all.

Those guys tested the rem rp9. One gave an absolutely terrible review. They apparently caught flack and retested and gave it a glowing review. Said it was the weight of the ammo (124) that caused the failure.

124 is pretty much all I shoot with no issues.

I may be biased as I have 2 p226s. They are old West German made guns and are flawless.

There were plenty of handguns he ran through that test that did very well. The Rex zero was a hammer fire gun and it ran flawless.
