Garmin Alpha will not update location

you need to "reconnect" the collar. Basically make the handheld forget that collar exists and re-find it as if it's New out the box. Instructions are in the owners manual. Delete the collar out of the handheld and do a full reset on the collar and then reconnect.

You may have to do a full reset on the handheld also, but I never have had to. Mines lost its mind twice and the above fixed it.
