Like a anybody who hunts on private land is gonna do that.

I for one will have to since I'll be hunting Eufaula Wildlife Refuge on Lakepoint this year... with a bow... all season long.

Ga has the same thing this year actually started back in Turkey Season. The land I hunt is bordered by the WMA and I have a feeling that DNR will be at our club checking to make sure people are using the app.

Looks a lot like LA tags. I don't think we even get the confirmation numbers anymore when you call it in. The tags are a good idea, IF they are actually ever checked.

I find its going to be hard to track when you're given 48 hrs to do it. If you get caught with a turkey/deer, you can always say you're gonna do it when you get home but what conservation officer is going to follow up with that?

Heard that a law was passed to let private land owners hunt over bait. Any truth to this?

I think the "not within 100 yes, not in line of sight" rule still applies.

We hunt 3k acres in choctaw co. We never baited either. Pops told me about this a week ago. We headed there in sept to start planting.

We're trying to bush hog our plots right now. Have 4 of 7 done and the tractor fricking quit

We always plant late. Like after the first week of October

They are so fresh and young once they come up right for the start of bow season

Sounds like our luck. Or drive the tractor 5mi down roads and trails to realize once you get to the plot, you have a flat tire

Im not gonna lie, last year was the 1st time in 6-7 years that I hunted gun and not bow. I can get spoiled to bringin a 12pk in the stand.

Ill still bow hunt the rut tho.

Used to hunt Pike County and Bullock County every year. I always wondered how the game department determined the health and population of the herd without some kind of check in system.
