Fungus in St Aug

Laid sod in May and it came in pretty quickly. Within 3 weeks or so it looked beautiful. Full and green grass through June and most of July. After we got the constant rain for weeks I noticed areas that looked greyish. After looking at it closer I noticed brown lesions on the blades of the grass. Looking at pics on the internet I believe I have it diagnosed as grey leaf spot. Anyone else have experience with this. Any recommendations on type of fungicide since there are several?

I have been cutting once a week. I suppose twice a week could help then?

No, that's enough. Go back to your original idea.

just go to your local lawn/garden store and talk to them....they will point you towards some fungicide that will work.

I had the exact same issue. Fertilome fungicide helped, but never knocked it completely out. I bought Headway-G off amazon (30 lb bag = $100) and it has worked great. Active ingredient is Azoxystrobin, and it's very expensive at Cleggs. Amazon was much cheaper. Lawn looks good, just need it to dry out better. My friend is a county agent and said that it's likely caused by the river silt we used for our final grade combined with less than perfect drainage.
