Probably Grand Isle, in the pass. Both of my sons like shark fishing. Biggest we have landed off the bridge in Grand Isle was 51".

They do occasionally but not reliably. If you are going all the way down to the island, you can stop by Terry's in Leeville on the right just beyond the toll bridge or make it even easier and hit up Bridgeside.
