Anybody here have experience with Frogg Toggs rain gear.

The reviews on Amazon run from great to garbage.

Specifically looking at the Men's Bull Frogg Signature75 Jacket and either the Men's Bull Frogg Signature75 HD Pant or Men's Pro Advantage Bibs.

More concerned with protection from rain or wind, not as worried about cold weather. I am uh.. fairly well insulated...

Thanks,
-MT.

Work well for the money. They are light and cheap and packable. Not super comfortable, but not bad. Without spending considerably more, they are fine.

Work well for the money, but not gonna keep your arse dry if you are in the rain for more than a few hours.

They're fine, when its not 99 degrees out. They don't breathe so when its hot as balls you're bound to suffocate.

Thumbs up. Lots of fishermen use them (or at least have a set stashed on the boat).

They blow. Like wearing parchment paper.

I've had good luck with mine using it on the boat for pop up rain showers. The fabric is the same used for FedEx shipping envelopes and is breathable.

I like mine a lot. Keeps out rain and wind. light weight and easy to store. I have two sets. One is very old. I bought it when they first came out. Used it several times fishing. Only color they had was grey. I still use it when I pressure wash the house. The other set I bought a few years back, it's camo and fit's in my blind bag. Only problem is my blind bag has stayed in my closet for last several years
Edit: Bibs would be my choice.

Pros: light, more breathable than any "real" rainware, cheap

Cons: not durable, sizing is weird (they run huge for their size)

ETA: those that are saying not breathable must be using a different product, these things breath better than conventional woven fabrics. That's also what makes them somewhat prone to ripping

I find they work great but not for an extended period of time!

They tear pretty easily. I think of them as $30 disposable raincoats that get a few uses before you have to replace. The best attributes are that they are very lightweight and store-able

Frogg Toggs are excellent for a light mist, fog, dew, or a quick light shower. That is it
