Need a little help tonight guys.....
Two years ago tonight, many of us here witnessed the greatest display of compassion, love, support, and generosity for their fellow man at the EJW Benefit Auction in Monroe. I've thought of this all day today and want to again express my sincere appreciation for everyone here that had a part of this incredible event. Everyone that was in that building that night left a better person.
I think it would be an awesome tribute to everyone here if we can RA this post to get the classic thread of the event back on this evening for nostalgic purposes.

Had mezican tonight and had a big 2 xx's beer. Having an Abita Pecan Harvest now.
4, hard to believe it has been 2 years. Wish I could have made it down for the event. LSUCouyon was there and he still talks about how special it was. Hope Jason's family is well. Wish I had met him.

I didn't become active on this board until after his passing. Reading of the generosity and camaraderie of this board was a big reason for becoming more than just an infrequent lurker. Seems like the OB and all those around him lost a hell of a man.
