Freezing a Pig (Help Needed)

A buddy of mine has a nice little pig that was killed and cleaned on Saturday. It is about 30 pounds of meat now.

We are thinking of smoking it either this weekend or next weekend and currently don't know what to do with it.

Wrap it and freeze it whole?

I would season it, wrap it up in freezer paper, and freeze it whole. it will be as good as new when you thaw it out and the seasoning will have more time to permeate the meat.
