A while back I posted about our little dog getting killed by a snake. . , my daughters boyfriend just killed a 6 ft rattler in our front yard. Gives me the creeps but I'm glad that bitch is dead. I'll post a pic later.

man, that is great to hear...you can quit worrying about that thing hurting someone....

I would skin it out and mount the skin on a board....

Thankful that he killed this one. I'm at the camp and got a text. They saw it in the driveway with headlights. If pic doesn't show it's because I don't know how to post from phone yet.

Any snake that kills my dog is becoming a belt or a pair of boots. Glad to hear it.

It was going across the driveway and he killed it with a limb. Sounds crazy to me. If I'd been there, some lead would've been flying.

That would have had to have been a mighty long limb for a snake that big!

Nice rattler.

But what are the odds that is the culprit?

This was my question as well. I don't know much about rattlesnakes and their range, but it seems strange to single this one snake out as the perp, just based on that it was found in the area.

Sorry for the loss of your pet.

Fang marks on dog were 1-1/4" apart. Just being hopeful that there are not more than one this big around right now. And dog was bit less than 70 yards from where snake was kilt.

Killing a snake that big with a stuck might be the only thing that gets that guy laid. Good thing you were at the camp.
