If you keep the safe in your house I would assume the A/C would keep the humidity down.
I oil all my guns and never had a problem with rust in my safe.

If the relative humidity inside your house is not less than 55%, you need a new air conditioner.

I just keep mine cleaned and oiled and have never had any problems with rust...
