Going fishing with the gal I've been dating, who happens to be a fishing enthusiast and a lot more knowledgable than me.

Does anybody familiar with the area know what would be biting this weekend and where to look? Also, what kind of tackle should I take? Btw, I will be fishing from shore.

All help is appreciated!

Lol. Why don't you ask her?

For tackle and equipment suggestions. For what's biting where in TX check out the Tx fishing forum LINK

Haha. Well, we've got a little bet going on to see who can catch the most fish. Therefore she's not giving me any tips.

Thanks for the link!

Throw a Senko around Lake Fork Marina. Lots of retreads around there because of all of the tournaments of the marina.

Most fish. Get some white cutsie spin, bettle spin, and H&H single Colorado blade spinner baits and put it one her. Those 3 baits will cover all freshwater game fish other than catfish this time of year.

Sit up front.

Hit her with the green grater afterwards.

I killed the white perch at Bob Sandlin last July 4th weekend, but all came from the same dock I was staying at. Wish I could help-good luck.

Went to Cabela's today and purchased a haul. A little bit of everything, so if I don't win I'm blaming y'all. ;)

Btw, if there are any young fellas 18-25ish in the Dallas area looking for a hunting/fishing Southern Belle, you could do a hell of a lot worse than the gal who helped me out today. Really knows her stuff, too.
