fishing for catfish in b.r.

Hello guys can someone give me some good spots to catch catfish from the shore in baton rouge?I tried the brec pond on burbank but no luck..thanks for the help..

Might be some places with public access along the Amite River. The traditional places to catch them are lake Verret and Lake Maurepas. Both require a boat to fish...

One day take Hwy 1 and go explore. Just ride and go down open roads that have river access. Stop and talk to people if you see any outside. If you ask them if there are places open to the public for bank fishing, they'll point you in the right direction.
