Fished GI/Leeville today

33 trout, 1 red
Steady bite, lotta 11" trout to filter through! Vudu under cork was the real winner, Gulp under cork did produced a few. Didn't bring any live shrimps. Over slept, left camp about 7:30! fished some island points on back side of GI then went to Leeville fished cuts and canals in the marsh. It was hot as hell!!
Island life can spoil ya! Fish tacos tonight, washers boards then peace n quiet!

Vudu & Gulp under cork, we bounced some Gulp along bottom also. Threw some Matrix Shad purple/chartruese but they didnt want anything to do with that.

Great catch. I am jealous. I gave up on the salt life for different reasons(distance, etc) and went back fresh. Had a great run this year on sacaulait, but sometimes I would like to catch reds and specks. Probably need to do a fall guided trip since we did not get drawn for our annual Wyoming hunt.

Anyone had luck out there this morning? I stayed back and went fishing in Lake Fields in Lockport with my nephew instead.

Didnt fish today, heading home.
Fished yesterday afternoon for a couple hours after rain cleared out. Not so hot, got nothing around GI, went into marsh again picked up 9 (12-12.5") trout!! Vudu again, no live.
Didnt hear too many good reports, neighbor is a guide he only managed 12 yesterday with live shrimp.
Lady fish EVERYWHERE!!
